Overview
Leadership is one of the most sought-after skills to have in both your professional and personal life. This program develops students into strong leaders in their communities by providing training and experiences through the CfLI Leadership Certificate and through mentoring from people involved in pharmacy.
This is an accordion element with a series of buttons that open and close related content panels.
Credits and Courses
Required Courses
5 credits of required courses taken in the PharmD curriculum:
- S&A 414: Social & Behavioral Aspects of Pharmacy Practice, 3 credits (Spring)
- S&A 514:Managing Pharmacy Systems for Patient Care, 2 credits (Spring)
Mentoring and CfLI Certificate
- Mentor Meetings: 1 meeting per semester for 4 semesters total (4 meetings in total)
- Certificate: Completion of the Center for Leadership Involvement Leadership Certificate
- Co-Curricular Requirement: As a part of completing the CfLI Certificate, students will complete a minimum of 100 hours of involvement hours split between civic engagement, Organizational Leadership, and Training and Workshops. Some of these hours may come from things like MEDiC, immunization clinics, and other SoP volunteering.

Application Information
- GPA Requirement: None
- Students must be in good academic and professional status to be considered.
- Students must submit an application between January 1 and March 1 of their DPH-1 year to be considered for admission.
