Abbey Woodward
Credentials: DPH-3
“She spends hours preparing for her therapy study group and drug lit discussions which she leads, and she takes pride in making sure the students understand the material. She does this while organizing events for PHP (WSPS). Her hard work is truly inspiring!”
“Abbey’s picture can be found in the dictionary under the word “leader.” She has taken on so much in the past year and has really made a place for herself in the school of pharmacy. On top of being a role model at her place of work, she is a pharmacy leader for the drug literature course, lending her expertise to students younger than herself. Additionally, she is a co-chair for WSPS Personal Health Partners, a role in which she plans and executes multiple meetings each month with men at Port St. Vincent, a shelter for people experiencing homelessness in Madison. Abbey facilitates discussion between WSPS volunteers and men at the shelter on topics such as diabetes, immunizations and COVID-19, and mental health. Lastly, she leads a therapy study group! Abbey deserves recognition for the wide variety of leadership roles she holds, as she is one of the top role models in our school.”
