Another online semester is in the books! With the challenges faced

February Meeting:

  • Faculty Research Roundtable – see 2nd page

March Meeting:

  • Dr. Luiza Brenny from UW Acute and Primary Care
  • Dr. Gabrielle Schneiderman from UW Pediatrics.

April Meetings:

    Residents
  • Dr. Sydney Steiner – a UW PGY2 Oncology Resident.
  • Katie Zimny, Dana Mille, Jennifer Morrison – Specialty
    Pharmacy – Oral Oncology

Thank you to our third-year members who will be moving on to their APPE rotations next year. Your dedication and contributions to SCCP have been appreciated throughout your time here. Best of luck!

The ACCP Clinical Research Challenge local competition is a journal club consisting of a 90- minute multiple choice exam that analyzes an assigned clinical trial. This year, the Clinical Research Challenge was held virtually with two teams competing.

Congratulations to Nick Ruarke, Sean Van Helden, and Victoria Cancelleri for winning this competition and advancing to the national ACCP Clinical Research Challenge!

Thank you to Kenton and Thomas for organizing this event for our members.

Research Roundtable

In February, SCCP held a research roundtable with School of Pharmacy faculty from the Social and Administrative Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, and Pharmacy Practice Divisions. Our members were able to learn about the research that was going on in our school and were able to engage and ask questions about what it is like to have a career in research and academia. Thank you to the following professors to dedicating their time to sharing their experiences with our members:
