SCCP is gearing up to have a busy rest of the year. We recently just finished our apparel sale and very soon will be unveiling our pharmacy stickers which was created by one our very own members! We will be having one more guest lecturer this semester and I am very excited to hear what they have to say.

Next month, will be having the clinical pharmacy challenge and will be hosting the research symposium. PLS is hosting the very first leadership gala and SCCP is currently nominated for 2 awards: most growth and unique event, for the Research Symposium. Elections are also right around the corner so if you have any questions about positions please reach out to me. Hope everyone has a wonderful spring break!

Clinical Research Challenge – Update!

The local competition on Tuesday, February 5th was a success. Three teams participated and a team of three DPH-1’s (Dan Funk, Tai Lu, and Aaron Klysen) won! They then went on to Round 1, the Online Journal Club Competition, which took place on Monday, February 11th.

On February 13th, they found out that they were one of the 40 qualifying teams for Round 2! They now must submit a Letter of Intent Proposal by the end of March 1st for review by the CRC Research Protocol Committee and the top 20 teams for Round 3 will be announced on March 25th.

Best of luck to Dan, Tai, and Aaron, as they represent our school in the national competition!
