Hepatitis B
What if I received Hepatitis B vaccines not listed in the Health Policy?
Contact Amanda Watter.
When do I obtain the Hepatitis B titer?
If you already obtained your vaccine series, you should obtain the Hepatitis B antibody titer. If you have not completed the vaccine series, you should obtain the antibody titer at least one to two months after the last dose of the vaccine series.
What if my Hepatitis B antibody titer is negative?
If you have a negative or non-reactive antibody test, you must sign a Hepatitis B liability waiver form, provided on the electronic health portal, before participating in any practice experiences. It is recommended that you continue with Hepatitis B vaccination as recommended by your provider.

The second test must be administered 7-21 days after the date the first test was read. The two tests must be given between May 5-September 15. Documentation from both TB tests must be uploaded together in 1 file to the electronic health portal.
A QuantiFERON Gold TB blood test will also suffice in lieu of a 2-Step TB test.
Continuing students: Students must be tested annually by May 5, or before your current test expires. A QuantiFERON Gold TB blood test will also be accepted.
