Evaluation of courses, instructors and teaching assistants is important for assuring and improving the quality of teaching and learning and for assessing instructional ability.
The following policies govern instructional evaluation processes within the School of Pharmacy:
- Instructional evaluations are required for all courses listed in the School of Pharmacy course subject listings (ie. Phm Sci, S&A Phm, Pharmacy, Phm Prac). Cross-listed courses will be evaluated by the primary home unit as defined by campus.
- In SoP courses, individual instructional evaluations are required for all School of Pharmacy instructors who deliver the credit equivalent number of hours of course content (eg. 2 credit course requires 2 hours of content delivery). Evaluations for instructors who deliver fewer than the required number of hours of course content may by conducted at the discretion of the course coordinator.
- Students are requested to complete instructional evaluations but are not required.
