Independent Study (699) is intended to be an educational experience in which, typically, one faculty member guides a student, who works independently of other students, on a project of interest. Students are typically expected to spend 2-3 hours per credit per week in the lab or working on the project. Independent Study (699) courses are subject to the following rules:
- A maximum of four (4) credits of independent study (699) course work may count toward the professional electives requirement.
- Independent Study Course Policies and Enrollment Form
- Exceptions to the above requirements may be made only with the permission of the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs.
