I started working at the School of Pharmacy in the Student & Academic Affairs (SAA) Office in 2009 when I started as an undergraduate student at UW-Madison. I worked as the SAA Office’s student office assistant while I pursued my bachelor’s degree in Psychology. After graduating from UW-Madison, I completed my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at UW-Whitewater. As a graduate student, I continued to work in the SAA Office as an academic advisor, working with both pre-pharmacy and PharmD students. I left the School of Pharmacy for five years to work in graduate medical education administration at UW-Madison but returned in the fall of 2021.

In addition to advising a class of PharmD students, I serve as the PharmD career services manager which involves coordination of career development activities, including the annual Career Development Day. I enjoy working closely with students to build advising relationships that provide support and encourage growth through both professional and personal success and challenges. Outside of the School of Pharmacy, I work part-time as a crisis worker for Dane County. In my free time I enjoy traveling, spending time with my two cats (Felix and Honey), and reading (especially the Harry Potter series).
