In addition, programs develop partnerships with employers to connect students to career information and resources and job opportunities.

PharmTox BS
Resources for all students:
Many L&S and CALS career workshops, fairs, and panels are open to all students, including PharmTox students. The Career Exploration Center (CEC) is also available to students who are in the early stages of career exploration, especially those who have lots of ideas or no ideas yet.
Handshake features employer job postings specifically available to UW–Madison students, and is a great place to browse for internships and full-time jobs. Students can also post resumes and allow employers to contact them regarding potential employment.
Badger Bridge is a networking website (similar to LinkedIn) where students can connect with alumni in fields or geographical areas of interest.
Big Interview is a free tool to all affiliated faculty, staff, and students to learn, practice, and improve their interviewing skills, whether it’s for a job or graduate school. This online system combines training and practice to help improve each user’s interview technique and build confidence.
The Center for Prehealth Advising assists students with preparing for and applying to professional healthcare programs, including medicine, physical therapy, physician assistant, dentistry, and more.

Professional Master’s & Certificate Programs
There are two areas of focus in the Professional Master’s & Certificate Programs:
- Applied Drug Development (ADD)
- Psychoactive Pharmaceutical Investigation (PPI)
All Professional Master’s & Certificate students have access to a variety of career support resources:
- Advisors are available to provide students with 1-on-1 support as they navigate their career development. This includes, but is not limited to, resume & cover letter review, interview preparation, and general support/coaching. Find your assigned advisor
- Each program has a Student Commons Canvas (ADD | PPI) site that provides support for:
- Students should watch for email and announcement communication regarding program specific support offered during the semester. This could include workshops, job fairs, events, industry speakers, etc.
