However, the resources are not exhaustive. If you would like a resource to be added, let us know.

We invite you to explore the resources here and share ideas of wellness activities that may inspire others in the School of Pharmacy to flourish! Keep in mind that wellness resources don’t always fit neatly into a single dimension – what supports your physical wellness may also nourish your emotional or social wellbeing. We encourage you to explore the areas below to find what resonates most with you.

UHS Care Managers
Provide support while you set up mental health care with a community provider, including help with understanding your insurance plan or finding insurance or low-cost treatment options.

Speak with an on-call counselor. Or if a situation is immediately life threatening, call 911.
Office of Student Assistance and Support (OSAS)
Helps students navigate personal, academic, or health issues.
Offers referral forms for academic complaints; harassment, discrimination, and bias concerns; and sexual assault, stalking, dating/domestic violence.
UW Police Department
Full-service law enforcement agency on campus. Learn how to stay safe on campus, in the surrounding community, and in real world situations.
UHS Survivor Services
Free, confidential support services for UW–Madison student survivors of sexual assault, dating violence, domestic violence, sexual harassment, sexual exploitation, and/or stalking.
PAVE UW-Madison
A student advocacy group dedicated to ending sexual assault, dating violence, and stalking through education and activism.

988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline

RCC Sexual Violence Resource Center
Crisis intervention services to survivors of all forms of sexual violence. RCC has a UW-Madison campus location.
DAIS
Resources to ensure the safety and well-being of domestic violence victims and their families through phone and text help lines.
National Domestic Violence Hotline
A 24/7, 365 days/year hotline providing tools and support to survivors of domestic violence.
RAINN’s National Domestic Violence Hotline
Provides victim service programs help survivors of sexual violence and their loved ones with support and resources.

Wisconsin Pharmacy Recovery Network (WPRN) – (offered through Pharmacy Society of Wisconsin)
A voluntary program intended to support pharmacists, pharmacy students, and pharmacy technicians as they enter and maintain recovery from substance use disorders.
Safe Communities
Drug harm reduction and recovery and peer support services.
SAMHSA National Helpline
Free, confidential, 24/7, 365-day-a-year treatment referral and information service for individuals and families facing mental and/or substance use disorders.

Outdoor UW
Offers a variety of outdoor activities suitable for all interests and skill levels. Wisconsin Hoofers provides instruction in mountaineering, outing, horse back riding, sailing, and more.
Madison Bike Paths
Biking is often the quickest and most efficient mode of travel for trips of five miles or less.
UW-Madison Arboretum
An ecological research, restoration, and educational facility, the Arboretum maintains more than 17 miles of trails through restored prairies, savannas, woodlands, and wetlands.
Allen Centennial Garden
A free public botanical garden and “living laboratory” managed by the UW’s Department of Plant and Agroecosystem Sciences
