Phi Delta Chi is a professional pharmacy organization founded in 1883. The mission of the Fraternity is to advance the science of pharmacy by promoting scholastic, professional, and social growth in its Brothers. As an organization, we are very proud of our philanthropic work. PDC has raised over $600,000 in the past three years to donate to St. Jude, to whom we have pledged to donate $1 million by 2017. Phi Delta Chi Brothers at The University of Wisconsin – Madison serve in leadership capacities in many other School of Pharmacy organizations, including Wisconsin Society of Pharmacy Students, Pharmacy Global Health Interest Group, Phi Lambda Sigma, and Rho Chi Honor Society. Joining PDC is a great way to network and meet people from classes besides your own. Delta Chapter dedicates hundreds of hours each year to community service projects, including mentoring middle school students, Adopt a Highway, Relay for Life, and Ronald McDonald House volunteering, just to name a few. Despite these substantial commitments, our Brothers hold monthly social events such as float trips, Brewers and Mallards baseball games, laser tag and haunted house tours. These times away from the classroom and organizational commitments allow Brothers to form close friendships with each other, and embody our motto: Each needs the help of the other.

We strive to provide quality services to our patients, thereby advancing public health and strengthening ourselves as health professionals.

Phi Delta Chi will be the pharmacy fraternity of first choice for:
- students seeking professional development and leadership skills;
- faculty and administration seeking a respected student organization to develop students; and
- employers seeking pharmacists with skills and experiences that set them apart.
Phi Delta Chi will strengthen its Brothers in serving the community and driving the evolution of the profession of pharmacy. Each Brother will exemplify responsibility for sustained involvement in Phi Delta Chi throughout their lifetime.

Our sense of Brotherhood goes beyond the collegiate level. Brothers maintain communications and assist each other across the nation and throughout our careers.
